Our Mission:

Café Con Rumba creates a space for Hispanic/Latine artists and audiences to celebrate our cultures, stories, and shared experiences through dance, music, and performance.

Rooted in New York City and presented in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, our shows bring together artists whose work reflects the many identities, traditions, and experiences of the Hispanic/Latine diaspora. Through movement and storytelling, we honor our roots while celebrating the communities and connections we continue to create here.

For our participating artists, we aim to provide a welcoming artistic space where emerging and established artists can take creative risks, share work authentically, and connect with one another.

For our audiences, Café Con Rumba is an invitation to gather, celebrate, and experience the richness and diversity of Hispanic/Latine culture while finding moments of recognition, nostalgia, joy, and connection.
