Sofia Bengoa
Sofia Bengoa, a dancer and choreographer based in NYC, is an Ecuadorian immigrant who grew up in Miami, FL. She holds a BA in community health from Brown University and is currently an Epidemiology PhD Candidate at the CUNY School of Public Health and Health Policy. Alongside her academic pursuits, Sofia works as a freelance dancer. Recent credits including Fuerza Fest and Dumbo Dance Festival. She has worked with choreographers such as Ashlé Dawson, Danielle Diniz, Katie Drablos, Carlos Falú, and Chloe LaFleur. Sofia assisted Eric Campros and Tracie Stanfield in their contemporary dance classes at Broadway Dance Center. As a choreographer, she is driven to create pieces that incorporate the language and music of her childhood. Recent credits include JCE Jazz Dance Project and Anthology 33.
Valentina Guedez Delgado
Valentina Guedez Delgado, an NYC-based dancer, was born and raised in Táchira, Venezuela. She immigrated to the United States in 2013, where she began dancing in her sophomore year of high school and hasn’t stopped since. Valentina continued her dance training at Dance Town and Showstoppers Miami before earning her Associate of Arts in Dance from Miami Dade College under the guidance of Michelle Grant Murray. In 2019, Valentina pursued her dreams in New York City and has since participated in various performances, including Premios Tu Mundo, Anthology 33, JCE Jazz Dance Project, Night of Life with Rachel Leigh Dolan, “Almost 36” by Katie Drablos, “20 Something” by Betty Weinberger, "Fuerza Fest 2024" by Carlos Falú, and more. Valentina is also a member of the Jack Cole Company.
